Our mornings started with a generous breakfast featuring fresh bread and croissants, accompanied by local jams and a selection of fruits, providing a delightful start to our day. I found it to be a wonderful way to immerse myself in the local culture, a touch reminiscent of my own experiences back in Shanghai. In the evenings, the atmosphere in the on-site bar was inviting, drawing locals and visitors alike. Though the restaurant did not serve dinner during our stay, the couple running the establishment shared stories about local dining options, which added a warm touch to our experience. In a pinch, we enjoyed pizzas from a van in the village square, allowing us to savor a simple meal while enjoying the charming ambiance of this quaint French village. The absence of a formal dinner service was a minor oversight in an otherwise pleasant visit.
